This morning as I was praying, it was on my heart to take coffee to my neighbor since today is her birthday. I will call her Tanisha. She was sleeping, so her daughter took the coffee upstairs to her. About 15 minutes ago, her daughter knocked on my door and handed me a card. It was from her Mom. I opened it and noticed that it was hand made. It was so beautiful. There was something very special about this card. A few days ago I was cleaning out a drawer of mine and I collected a bag of nice, decorative paper and craft supplies. I took them to Tanisha's house to give to her daughters. When I handed them to Tanisha, she said, "Oh, I love this kind of stuff!" So I told her to feel free to use it too. I opened the card and it was made out of the craft supplies I had given to her. I reaped what I sowed in an even better and sweeter way! There is nothing like a hand made card. This is what it said;
Rachel,
Thank you for being a good neighbor and friend and for thinking about me. I really appreciate the things you do and I will always cherish your company and respect you dearly. I love you.
