JESUS wants the land...

This morning as I was prayer walking I was drawn to stop and pray over a certain apartment by the Holy Spirit. This was the apartment that was robbed and shot into several times about 6 months ago. Because of this, the family has moved and the apartment is boarded, has graffiti on it and a couple of bullet holes in the windows. It has been vacant since this happened. The apartment just appears to have death and violence on it. There is also a tree in the front of the apartment that has been dead for years and is just standing there. I felt like I was supposed to lay hands on the tree and the apartment and speak life and blessing over it. I looked around to make sure no one was watching :) and laid my hand on the front door. Immediately I felt the Presence of God on me in a strong way. I went to the back door, but an East St. Louis Housing Authority van was parked there so I didn't lay hands on the back door. Hahahahaha, I didn't want them to think I was trying to break in or something. :) I walked away, but felt a prompting to walk around to the back door again. I did and the Housing Authority van was gone. I was able to pray over the back door as well and just spoke the name of Jesus and blessing over the apartment. I walked away and asked God why He had me do that, because no one lives there. I thought how is this apartment affecting the people? Then I just knew.... it's because God wants to take this city, He wants this land. That apartment is part of this land and piece of territory JESUS wants. He's taking it for His Glory, little by little. I'm so excited!
