Supernatural protection...
Now that I continue to have the ministry in East St. Louis but don't live there personally, I'm realizing how supernaturally God protected me when I was there. I currently live in a town that is safe and a cute little neighborhood. But I can honestly say that I "felt" God's protection more when I lived in East St. Louis than I do currently. I know that God is still protecting me now, but His protection was a like a thick blanket that I could feel resting heavily on me every day as I lived in the most dangerous neighborhood in East St. Louis. It was His Presence and anointing keeping me in what felt like a bubble, safe from the violence that filled that neighborhood. I don't want to get so "comfortable" in my safe neighborhood that I don't still completely rely on His protection. I am very thankful for the natural safety, but I don't want to look to that as my SOURCE of protection, because only God can provide that supernatural, sweet, heavenly protection.
