Opening up...

We've been grilling outside again for the guys in John DeShields. The past two weeks, we've been in shock by the conversations they've been bringing up, any where from divorce to how women are as interesting as a box of chocolates, from what we would do if we won the lottery to the man who was shot last night. We felt like we were on a talk show, where these guys just started opening up to us about the current problems they're facing. Every week, we are amazed at what God has done with using three women volunteers to reach these young men who do life on the streets of East St. Louis. They have become our sons, our brothers and our lives are better because of them.
