His Healer...
Looked out my front door and saw 5 boys doing flips off of the playground in front of my apartment. They were kids that I haven't seen in a while, so I walked over and sat on the sidewalk to watch them do their flips, cheer them on and pray (silently) that none of them get hurt. I sat next to the only boy who wasn't doing flips, he was just watching. He had hurt his ankle jumping over a bike, so I got to pray for his ankle to be healed. Before I prayed for him, I taught him how JESUS already took on our pains and sicknesses on the cross and that he could simply receive his healing. It was so amazing to be able to share that with a 12 year old kid. Kids are so much more receptive to things like that than adults. Their faith is so receiving. I guess that's why JESUS told us to be like little children, they simply believe. I went into my apartment to get him some ice and after about 5 minutes I told him that it would probably help to get up and walk it out. He did and walked away with his friends. It may have just been a simple pain that would have been taken care with just walking on it, but it was so amazing to be able to share with him about JESUS being his Healer.
