Last month we were able to baptize one of the girls who comes to our Friday night Teen Ministry. As I have mentioned in previous posts, we meet with the teens in my apartment (for now), so we baptized her in my bathtub. It was great! We sent the other kids home so she would feel comfortable. I told all of the kids the night before what we were doing, so they would have time to think about if they were ready to be baptized. She told me that night that she was ready. So, we all crammed into my small bathroom, all 6 of us, one teen and 5 adults. :) Before I baptized her, we prayed over her together. I was so thankful that all of us could be there with her and show her that we were behind her in this awesome decision she was making. When she came back up out of the water, we all cheered for her and praised God. She just sat there and didn't get up. She said, "I just want to stay here." She had a mixture of emotions, with a huge smile on her face. I am so thankful to see what God is doing and that we were all able to be a part of the transformation of her beautiful life.
