Smiling...

One of the boys in the neighborhood came by 3 times in the past 2 days. He is having a hard time at home and feels like everyone in his family is against him. My friend and I were able to offer him advice and pray for him. Each time we told him, "When you go home, if things get bad again, you come by anytime and we will do what we can to help." So that's exactly what he did. Several times, we offered him advice, he went home and put it into practice, then came back over if he was still having a hard time. Today we saw him and he said, "It worked and things are better." Over the past two days, through what he shared with us, we saw what his home life was really like. We've known him for a while, but never would have guessed what his home life was like. Lately several of us have been concerned about him, because he seemed so down and sad. But now we are seeing him come back to life and smiling.
