Like you taught us...

This morning I was prayer walking and ran into one of the young men. He told me that he recently got a job. I was so excited for him! He also said that he got his younger brother a job and is taking him with him every day to work. He told me that his brother who had quit going to school is now back in school and also working. I was so proud of them! I told him this and this was his response, "We tryin' to get it right. We doin' like you taught us." WOW! Thank you God! Later on that day I got to meet his girlfriend and hold his new baby girl. When he was telling his girlfriend how he knew me, he said, "She's a long time friend of the family." Sometimes I don't know how the people here feel about me or if I am impacting their lives, but God is so faithful and gives me times like this that I can see their hearts.
