We're heading in the wrong direction...

Tonight I was eating dinner and 4 teenage boys who I know knocked on my door. One of them said, "We've been talking and we decided that we are heading in the wrong direction. We came over because we want you to pray with us to we re-commit our lives to God." I couldn't believe it and I was floored! At that moment, I saw exactly why God has me living here in John DeShields where they live. I began asking them what made them come to this conclusion. One of the boys who faithfully comes to prayer on Tuesday nights and the teen ministry on Friday nights, said "We were talking bad about each other and realized that it was wrong, so we don't want to do that anymore." After praying with them, we began talking. One of the boys said that he was at a point in his life where he wasn't sure what he believed. He was very confused about God and didn't even know if God was real. He had been considering atheism or buddhism. I encouraged him that JESUS was the only way to God and not to believe the lies that the devil was putting in his mind. The hunger of these boys encouraged me. My prayer is that God will continually stir in their hearts to know Him and His LOVE more.
